Martial arts tournament in Hanoi draws 1,250 participants

The 39th Hanoi Traditional Martial Arts Open Tournament began on December 13 at Trinh Hoai Duc Sports Hall, with 1,250 participants from 62 schools across 12 provinces. The four-day event celebrates traditional Vietnamese martial arts.

Quang Tri hosts exhibition celebrating Vietnam's ethnic cultural heritage

The exhibition highlighting traditional ethnic culture and folk customs, part of the 2024 Vietnam Ethnic Culture Festival, opened on December 14 in the central province of Quang Tri. Featuring 200 paintings, the display focuses on themes such as President Ho Chi Minh's connection with ethnic minorities, the Party and State's support for ethnic communities, and the cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups.

Vietnam's coconut exports set to exceed US$1 billion in 2024

Vietnam is projected to earn more than US$1 billion from exporting coconut products in 2024. China is Vietnam's key market thanks to the recently signed protocol for official exports.

Danang invests in AI and semiconductor development

Danang People’s Council approved a resolution to develop human resources in semiconductors and AI for 2025-2030, with a budget of US$36 million. The central city will focus on financial incentives for experts and scientists, support for strategic businesses and training programs. Graduates working in Danang for three years can receive loan forgiveness. 

Exhibition honors military achievements and inspires patriotism

The exhibition “Heroic Army - Strong National Defense” is now underway at the Vietnam Military History Museum in Hanoi, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024). Featuring nearly 300 artifacts, it highlights the army’s revolutionary journey, heroic victories, and achievements in national defense, aiming to inspire patriotism and pride, especially among younger generations.
