The move is to convey messages of love, humanity, life, the environment, nature, and compassion during times of disaster and hardship.

This year's competition is organized by the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association in Hanoi, the Pushkin Institute, and the Long Bien District People's Committee.

This is part of the programs marking the 70th anniversary of the Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10) and leading up to the 75th year of Vietnam-Russia’s diplomatic relations (1950-2025).

It aims to educate the youth of both countries about the friendship, solidarity, and bond between the people of Vietnam and the Russian Federation, said Duong Hoai Nam, Chairman of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association in Hanoi.

“The competition, which involved 100 students from various schools in Hanoi, provides an opportunity to express love for their homeland and the countries of Vietnam and Russia, highlighting Hanoi as a city for peace, a creative and heroic city”, Nam briefed the attendants at the contest.

The first prize of the primary school category went to Nguyen Phuc Hung from class 2B at Quoc Oai Town Primary School; the first prize of the secondary school category was awarded to Tran Nguyen Ngan Ha from the Russian Embassy School while the special prize was given to Fokina Kaleria from the Russian Secondary School in Vietnam.
